Consulate Suites
76 Water St. (Owned by Kathy Willis)
Four luxury vacation suites with spectacular views of the Apalachicola river and town sit atop the historic Grady Market. This second floor of the former J.E. Grady & Co. hardware and ship supply store was once shared by the Captain of the Port, a French Consulate and a U.S. Customs office. A three-year restoration project returned the Grady Building to its turn-of-the-century splendor. Decorated with antique prints, original art and vintage maps, each suite has a unique personality. Heart pine floors, eleven foot tin-plated ceilings, and exposed beams and brick walls create a spacious and elegant atmosphere for guests. “The Attaché” with its garden view is open to visitors on this year’s tour.
